I feel indignation because of the way media sexualizes and standardizes the woman’s body. Since the very beginning, the figure of the woman on movies, for example, has just been used to inspire sexual desire and to make real woman want to look like the characters they see on screen.

 That hasn´t changed that much in the actual time. Nowadays, young woman stop eating or adopt eating disorders because they want to look like the girls they see on TV, on movies or in the magazines. That´s why, I think, unbalanced diets has became so popular, and some of them tell you to eat just apples and nothing more. That’s really unhealthy and dangerous to any person, and most of all, to a girl who is influenced by those stereotypes.  

The media tell woman, not just how they should look, but also how they should behave. Things that a “lady” should or shouldn’t do. How a “lady” should talk, which words should she use, how they should dress, how they should walk or eat or what they should eat, etcetera. And I think that this is very dangerous to our society, because of the men who take advantage on that, they sexualizes us on the street, they yell things to us while we’re walking, they feel with the faculty to touch us without our consent, to beat us and to kill us… I think we should stop living wanting to be someone we are not and stop living with fear.
